Seaview Limited was founded in 1990 by Richard and Judith Sawle and is now owned by Alex Reid. Seaview is a Falkland Islands Registered Company which began trading as a port agent in the early 90's for a variety of locally operated fishing and reefer vessels. The company also provided and still provides, the only on-shore cold storage facility in the Falkland Islands. Over the course of time, the business expanded and the focus changed to becoming a fishing company in partnership for many years with Pescanova S.A. of Spain.
The company now fishes in partnership with Lafonia Seafoods SA using the stern freezer trawlers "Sil" and "New Polar", modern vessels flagged in the Falkland Islands and following all UK certification requirements.
The joint venture company Polar Limited, in partnership with Seaview Limited has been trading successfully in the Falkland Islands and Europe for many years now. Over the years we have built up a stable financial position and we have excellent relationships with all of our employees - many of them being crew that have been with us for over 20 years.
We are a professional and efficient fishing business. The quality of our products is without equal and we take pride in our reputation as one of the foremost seafood producers of the Falkland Islands and South Georgia.

The Sil and the New Polar
Polar Ltd - Seaview's joint venture fishing company which fishes Loligo squid in the Falklands and icefish in the Antarctic. The company owns two stern freezer trawlers - the "Sil" and the "New Polar" Both vessels are flagged in the Falkland Islands and are modern and well equipped. The "New Polar" is a new build which incorporates many cutting edge technologies and acts as a platform for research fishing.

Seaview Logistics Limited is the logistics company that was formed from Seaview Limited. It operates a variety of services to the fishing fleet, including a cold storage plant and dry warehousing facility on the dock in Stanley.
